Peggy and John welcome you to this family-run B&B on the western edge of North Uist.
Accommodation
Accommodation comprises one family room with private facilities and one double room (ensuite), both on the ground floor. Each bedroom has a hospitality tray, television/DVD player, radio alarm clock and hairdryer, and we will do our best to meet any additional requests.
The residents’ lounge has a reference library, Sky TV and a selection of family games, videos and DVDs.
Wi-Fi internet access and a telephone are available on request.
For a small charge we can provide a laundry service; there is also a drying room and an iron and ironing board for guest use.
Food
Our hearty breakfasts start at 6.30am and a typical menu includes:
- Chilled fruit juices
- Seasonal fresh fruit
- Yoghurts and cereals
- Porridge
- Full Scottish breakfast: bacon, sausages, black/white pudding, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans and potato
- scones/waffles
- Poached, scrambled, fried or boiled eggs
- Homemade scones and pancakes
- Tea/coffee and toasted bread
If you need an earlier breakfast a tray can be provided with a selection of breads, croissants, scones and pancakes with assorted preserves.
Evening meals and packed lunches are available on request. We are happy to cater for vegetarian or any other dietary needs.
Discount breaks are available for guests staying for three or more nights.
We are open all year. |
